The premiere of Stellar Blade is fast approaching, and Sony is bombarding us with more promotional materials. In the uncompromising trailer of the Korean production, we can see the so-called Burst Skills, which are very, very effective special attacks performed by Eve. I’m not exaggerating too much when I say that the presented animations look great – the debut game from Shift Up studio can be a real treat for fans of old-school slashers like Devil May Cry or Bayonetta.
Electric discharges, fountains of sparks and blades cutting through the screen to the rhythm of an aggressive soundtrack will certainly not make it easier for us to wait for the premiere of Sony’s exclusive title. The creators know how to suck up to nerds – Stellar Blade will be released worldwide in… uncensored versionwill offer players a choice from three graphic modes and will show the middle finger greedy corporations that enjoy anti-consumer micropayments.
It seems that all the problems of modern gaming do not seem to apply to the Korean slasher, which definitely translates into interest in the game – the production’s demo is breaking popularity records and even makes the demo version of the remake of the cult Final Fantasy VII complex. Therefore, no one should be surprised by the fact that Sony is interested in buying the Shift Up studio.
Stellar Blade will debut exclusively on PlayStation 5 on April 26.
