Finally a social social media app!
At its core, Locket offers exactly what I’ve been wanting for a social network for a long time: no commercialized fake world, but an app that actually simplifies the simple exchange with close friends. Locket brings best friends, partners and family members to the fore. And literally, by placing them visibly on our smartphone’s home screen, instead of disappearing in the stream of Snaps and Stories. That has potential!
Unfortunately, many social media apps already had this, only a few have so far reached the necessary critical mass to be a functioning social network. But since you only connect with Locket with your closest friends, this critical mass could be reached quite quickly for yourself. So could the app actually become the next TikTok? Locket is already trending on the same platform.
