For her first television animation, the dynamic Brigitte Boisjoli is at the helm of a concept in her image, which moves air, entitled Fasten your hat.
On February 15, at Évasion, we will find the energetic singer in this new program tailor-made for her. Initiated by lovers of the cold season, Boisjoli will try out unusual winter activities, accessible to all.

New Horizons
Entertainment, Brigitte Boisjoli had been thinking about it for a while. She had previously been offered to host summer shows, but her realities as a singer and new mom (her little Charlie is now three and a half years old) kept her too busy.
In 2020, the pandemic has aligned the stars for her. His tour Women postponed, the moment became perfect to explore new horizons. Brigitte submitted to the production house Trio Orange an idea scribbled in her hand, in which she imagined herself interviewing guests while climbing mountains.
Reworked, his inspiration has instead become Fasten your hat. As soon as the project was accepted, filming began three weeks later. The team is currently walking around Quebec, regardless of the colors of the zones, in full compliance with sanitary measures, until the end of January. At the time of this interview, Brigitte was also at the wheel of her car, on her way to the Monts Valin, in Saguenay – Lac-Saint-Jean, for the second shoot ofFasten your tuque.
“We will discover regions and their landscapes. There will be a lot of super beautiful camera shots, to put Quebec’s winter in the foreground, to show how beautiful it is and how lucky we are, to make everyone want to enjoy it. . We try to cast a wide net in the places we visit, ”adds the native and resident of Drummondville.
Playing Diane Dufresne?
Despite COVID-19, Brigitte Boisjoli considers herself very lucky: between two appearances at Tower and to Live from the universe, she continued to work this year.
Has she, on the off chance, received a proposal to play Diane Dufresne in the cinema? Christal Films being in development of a biopic on the legendary singer, and Brigitte having briskly been compared to the latter since her debut, the parallel turns out to be natural. The main interested party swears, however, that she has not (yet) been approached.
“I think there were auditions, and I didn’t show up,” she says, laughing. But lots of people wrote to me on Facebook, my manager told me about it … “
In 2021, once the episodes ofFasten your hat In a box, Brigitte Boisjoli intends to get down to writing new original songs, she who has revisited the repertoires of Patsy Cline and Luc Plamondon, among others, in recent years.
“I don’t even remember how it sounds, Brigitte Boisjoli in French!” joke the one who offered the opus Forbidden fruits (2011) and Without regret (2014) before branching off towards repeats.
