Nearly half a billion rupiah was handed over by TV presenter Brigita Manohara to the KPK. The money was previously thought to be a gift from Central Mamberamo Regent Ricky Ham Pagawak, who is currently a fugitive.
Brigita herself admitted that the money was given from Ricky. However, he admitted that he did not know that the money Ricky had given him was problematic. Brigita also hopes that this problem will be resolved soon.

Brigita admitted that he had transferred to the KPK a total of Rp. 480 million. Currently, according to him, the KPK is verifying it.
“I’ve transferred it, it’s still being verified. IDR 480 million in total, everything has been transferred,” said Brigita.
Previously, Acting KPK spokesman Ali Fikri said the money from Brigita would be analyzed further. Brigita had previously undergone an examination at the KPK.
“KPK appreciates the cooperative attitude of the witnesses who were present and will return the amount of money and goods that have been received from the suspect in question,” he said.
“And then it will be analyzed and then confirmed again with the suspect and various parties who will be called as witnesses by the investigation team,” Ali added.
Brigita denies having a special relationship
Brigita Manohara previously denied having a special relationship with the Regent of Central Mamberamo Ricky Ham Pagawak. But Brigita does not deny that she knows Ricky.
“This I also have to emphasize to my friends, everyone has the right to claim to know, claim to be my girlfriend. But here I emphasize that I have no special relationship,” said Brigita Manohara to reporters at the KPK building, Red and White, Monday. (25/7/2022).
Brigita said she had known Ricky. He also admitted that he had received a stream of funds and gifts from the suspect in the bribery case.
“I conveyed the fact that I had known the suspect and that I had received a stream of funds and gifts from the suspect as an appreciation for my profession, namely a presenter and communication consultant,” he explained.
Furthermore, Brigita refused to answer about her communication with Ricky Ham. He claimed to have conveyed this to investigators.
“Later you can ask investigators (when was the last communication),” he said.
However, Brigita had time to answer questions from the media regarding her last communication with Ricky Ham. He admitted that the last time he had contact with Ricky was a long time.
