The Gulls struck the note at noon in London. In the throes of a game where little happened, those led by Graham Potter beat Spurs 1-0 thanks to the beautiful definition of the Belgian, Leonardo Trossard. In this way, Antonio Conte’s men put their qualification for the next edition of the Champions League at risk.
Little or nothing happened during the entire lawsuit. Brighton and Hove looked more solid while Tottenham’s mighty attacking trio struggled every time they ran into a visiting defensive wall. The attempts of the South Korean Son, who were blocked, and the disappearance of the magician, Harry Kane, cost dearly in the capital of England.
The lawsuit was unlocked at 44 minutes of the second half. In a dirty play down the left wing, it was Cristian Romero who noticed that the ball was behind him and tried to move it with a cue. Without thinking about it, the Argentine gave the ball to Trossard who leaked into the large area and, without an angle, sent the round against the farthest pipe of the Frenchman, Hugo Lloris.
As soon as he moved from the middle, Tottenham managed one of the clearest of the match to tie it. Steven Bergwijn came face to face with Robert Sánchez but the Dutchman defined a deflection. The note, at the start of date 33 of the Premier League, was given by Brighton and Hove with an agonizing goal and a 1-0 win that did wonders for Arsenal.
