Several drivers in the city of Miami, Florida, witnessed an accident in which a Brightline company train collided with a vehicle that crossed the tracks.
According to the video shared on social networks by the account of Only in Dadethe incident occurred last Saturday, July 1, around 6:53 p.m.
Miami-Dade County police indicated that the accident occurred in the area of Northeast 36th Avenue and Second Avenue, some of the busiest streets in the city, and which had to be closed momentarily after what happened.
Images circulating online show a dark-colored sedan ignoring security fences.
Just when the lights that warned of the imminent arrival of the train began to come on, the vehicle, whose passenger door was open, slowly approached the train tracks, being hit a few seconds later.
After the blow, the front bumper of the sedan was detached from the vehicle, while a woman got out of the passenger seat in a hurry.
Miami police say no one was injured in the crash, and videos show a couple of people standing next to the vehicle, inspecting the damage the train caused above it.
For its part, the Brightline company vehicle had to park at the scene, remaining partially on top of the dark sedan.
At the moment, the authorities have not revealed the identities of the people who were traveling in the car at the time of the accident, nor the reason why the driver decided to ignore the security fences.
Train accidents are nothing new in Florida. In August of last year, a train from the same company collided with an empty SUV in North Miami. The incident was captured on video.

Similarly, in April, one of these trains collided with a truck carrying several new cars, severely damaging several of them.
