For the “Last-Minute-Börse 2022”, training companies, those looking for an apprenticeship and experts from the training market will meet on Friday, July 29, from 1 to 3.30 p.m., in an outdoor event in front of the Freiburg Employment Agency, Lehener Straße 77. Applicants without Apprenticeships still have excellent chances if they include alternatives in addition to the desired job, according to the employment agency, which is the organizer with the Chamber of Industry and Commerce and the Chamber of Crafts. 40 employers from various sectors present themselves. Young artists accompany the apprenticeship exchange musically. At the end of June, 1,989 apprenticeship positions were unfilled in the Freiburg district and 1,390 young people were registered as looking for an apprenticeship.

Acquittal Celebration
According to the guild, 30 men and women passed the journeyman’s examination in the carpentry trade. Until Thursday, July 28, the journeyman’s pieces are on display in the Meckelhalle of the Sparkasse, Kaiser-Joseph-Straße 186 – 190 (entrance via Franziskanerstraße) – supplemented by an apprenticeship exchange. Visitors can rate the pieces and nominate the “Schreiner Star 2022”. The public acquittal ceremony will take place on Friday, July 29, at 6 p.m. Keynote speaker Dieter Salomon, General Manager of the Chamber of Industry and Commerce, talks about “Youth and the future”.

The Franz Xaver and Emma Seiler Foundation, founded in 1975 and under the umbrella of the Freiburg Foundation Administration, promotes training support for disadvantaged young people. Organizations, associations, initiatives and other groups that support young people from the Freiburg city area in training in a trade can apply for funding every year.
