As part of the accompanying program of the exhibition “70 years of art in Germany”, which can be seen in the Herderbau, Tennenbacher Strae 4 (http://www.kunstambau-freiburg.de the guided tour “Mural Bissier + Bampi – Old University: New Results” will take place on Monday, June 13, from 4 p.m. The meeting point is the inner courtyard of the restaurant “Experience the Black Forest” (formerly “Erzherzog Albrecht”) at the Old University, Bertoldstrasse 17. The art historian Maria Schly and the restorer Maira Grnbaum report on new research on the ceramic painting by Julius Bissier and Richard Bampi from 1956. Admission free.

The group exhibition “The sky looks amazing from here” with photographic works by Angela Bulloch, Sharon Harper, Taiyo Onorato and Nico Krebs as well as Felix Schppner will open on Sunday, June 12, 6 p.m. at Kunsthaus L 6, Lameystrae 6. It counts as part of the “5th Biennale de la Photographie de Mulhouse” and has “Celestial Bodies” as its overarching theme. Admission is free. The show can be seen until Sunday, July 17 (Thursdays and Fridays 4 p.m. to 7 p.m., Saturdays and Sundays 11 a.m. to 5 p.m.).

The prostate cancer self-help group (http://www.pk-shg-fr.de invites members, affected and interested parties to the free monthly meeting for Tuesday, June 14, 7 p.m., in the “Rappen”, Mnsterplatz 13.
theme of inclusion
A picture exhibition on the topic of inclusion can be seen in the Freiburg City Library, Mnsterplatz 17, until Saturday, July 2nd. Photos of people with and without handicaps are shown, each with a statement from them that begins with the words “For me, inclusion is…”. The exhibition is supported by the welfare association “Der Parittische”, the regional association of southern Baden and the Freiburg/Breisgau-Hochschwarzwald self-help office, and is supported by the Volker Homann Foundation.
Evangelistar
On Tuesday, June 14, from 7 p.m., Auxiliary Bishop Christian Wrtz will present the history of the origins of the new Freiburg Evangelistary in the Mnsterforum Freiburg, Herrenstrae 33. The pictures of the associated competition can be viewed in the same room. An evangeliary is a liturgical book containing passages from the New Testament gospels for reading on the Sundays and holy days of the church year.
Automobilitt
“Automobility – electric or what?” is the title of an event to which the Freiburg City Association of the German Trade Union Confederation (DGB) is inviting on Tuesday, June 14, 7 p.m. in the trade union building, Friedrichstrasse 41-43. The speaker is Uwe Fritsch, who for decades was chairman of the works council at the VW plant in Braunschweig. The event is supported by the municipal council factions SPD/Kulturliste and Jupi. Admission free.
