Thai Airways Pattaya Airways obtained an air operator’s certificate. The new carrier wants to focus on cargo transportation. The operation is to start at the end of this year. Pattaya Airways has two older freighters in its fleet ATR 72-500which she took over during the spring months. By 2028, the company wants to expand its fleet to five cargo planes.

New Uzbek airline Fly Khiva started regular cargo flights from Tashkent to Liège, Belgium (Liège). The line is operated three times a week by a Boeing 767-300F freighter. The flights are designed to meet demand for cargo transportation between Western Europe, Central Asia, China and other Asian countries. Fly Khiva received an air operator’s certificate from the Uzbek authorities in February of this year and then started to provide charter cargo flights. It now has one Boeing 767-300F freighter in its fleet, which until recently was operated by Icelandair.

AirBaltic will fly again from autumn my Vilnius is my Düsseldorf. The new connection will be operated twice a week from October 31, always on Mondays and Thursdays. This is already the eleventh airBaltic line between the Baltic states and Germany. The new connection further expands airBaltic flights from Vilnius to Germany. Currently, the company flies directly from the Lithuanian capital to Berlin, Munich and Hamburg.
