“We have been permanently deployed these days of emergency, here in the Chillán Viejo commune and according to our route, except for what we had to see yesterday at the Las Lajuelas bridge over the overflow of the Chillán River and also in the Nebuco sector specifically two families from Los Coligues, where we were collaborating and where he was also with the police and they are very grateful for the support they have received from the municipality and the police, we believe that the behavior has been normal, we have been monitoring the channels hour by hour, from the different places where there is habitual flooding and on this occasion we have had a good behavior, therefore we are with all our team deployed to the rural sector”, explained the mayor Jorge del Pozo.
It should be noted that at the national level, during Tuesday, due to the continuous rains, the central government declared a state of agricultural emergency, in 117 communes of O’Higgins, Maule, Ñuble and Biobío, which will facilitate the arrival of resources for the livestock sectors, farmers and beekeepers.
Precisely these new inputs, coming from the central level, will arrive in a timely manner to families that were once again affected, as it is in the La Arboleda sector.
