Bridge closed for 7 months: endless inconveniences in Nocera Inferiore and Nocera Superiore

The reopening by December 2024 seems like a very optimistic hypothesis, but the municipal administrations of Nocera Inferiore and Nocera Superiore are working to make it happen. It is the bridge of via Fratelli Fresa/via Firenze shared by the two Noceras. It was closed last February 27 due to the opening of a pothole, which revealed critical issues with the overpass slab. Almost seven months have passed and residents are starting to become intolerant. On the Nocera Inferiore side there are residential parks with over 120 apartments in total. Not only them, to tell the truth. In fact, it is an escape route serving the two communities, also regularly used by heavy vehicles heading from via Nazionale towards the interior of the two cities. In recent months, trucks have had to find alternative routes, clogging up the internal traffic of the two Noceras. In particular, they poured onto the Mancusi overpass and onto viale San Francesco in Nocera Inferiore, weighing on an already critical situation. Furthermore, it also increases the burden supported by the infrastructures open to traffic.
