Libreville, Monday, September 4, 2023 (Gabon Info) – The President of the Committee for the Transition and the Restoration of Institutions will be invested this Monday during a solemn ceremony organized at the Palais du Bord de Mer in Libreville.
Gabon lives this Monday an exceptional and historic day with the investiture of General Brice Clotaire Oligui Nguema as transitional president. At the head of the Committee for the Transition and the Restoration of Institutions (CTRI) at the helm of the country since August 30, the senior officer officially takes office during a solemn audience held at the Palais du seaside in Libreville.
After his unanimous designation as Chairman of the said Committee, the senior officer not only instructed the restoration of the Internet and the signals of satellite television channels, but initiated contacts with the various living forces of the Gabonese Nation. In his exchanges with employers, the political class, civil society, religious leaders, the press and certain officials of the “Alternance 2023” platform, Brice Clotaire Oligui Nguema was reassuring. In a patriotic and republican impulse, he promised major reforms to drive real change and provide Gabon with solid institutions. This Monday’s ceremony remains eagerly awaited by Gabonese and the rest of the world. Because, the brigadier general must set the course.
