Dn the Brexit soap opera, we can miss a few episodes but still be up to date with developments. A lack of progress which crystallizes the tensions between the two parties, which accuse each other of being responsible for it.

He also said he was “a little surprised” because Boris Johnson, the British Prime Minister, had mentioned his wish to accelerate the work during the summer period, but “the British negotiators showed no willingness to progress on subjects fundamental for the EU, despite the flexibility we have shown in working on the UK’s three red lines.
