It has been 7 to 4 years since the British chose to leave the European Union (EU) or commonly known as the British Exit (Brexit).
Instead of being satisfied with this policy, the country’s younger generation tends to regret Brexit. Even to appear the term British Regret (Bregret).
Sure enough, in the latest YouGov opinion poll published last week, 53% of those polled said the UK was wrong in its decision to leave the EU. That beats those who agree with Brexit policy with only 32% still believing it was the right decision.
It doesn’t stop there, Ipsos’ opinion in January showed that 45% of the population thought Brexit had worsened their daily lives. Beating about 11% of poll participants who said it had made their lives better.
The poll conducted by Focaldata and UnHerd at the end of last year found that of around 10,000 respondents nationwide, 54% “strongly agreed” with the statement that Britain was wrong to leave the EU.
Meanwhile, a few 28% strongly disagreed, and out of 632 people in Great Britain (England, Wales and Scotland), more people disagreed with the statement than agreed. In 2016 presentations in support of Brexit.
The UK economy is expected to be the worst in the G-20 for two years, while a cost of living crisis and political turmoil have exacerbated conditions for the government there.
