Bretenoux. Loyalty in work honored and rewarded

The BOUNY company located in Bretenoux was created in 1963 by Marcel Bouny. After spending 7 years as a Works Manager with the creator, in 2000 Christophe Burellier took over the company which is celebrating its 60th anniversary this year! Since then, this finishing company has been able to evolve according to requests: traditional plastering, plastering, classic and bio-sourced insulation, interior and exterior painting, floor coverings, dressing room fittings, custom fitted kitchens, modular partitions, thermal insulation through exterior.

Friday, November 17, 2023, an informal meeting brought together the company’s staff for several reasons: to celebrate the longevity of the company and to affirm the know-how in all secondary trades by renaming the Company BCONCEPT46. Then, Christophe Burellier wanted to reward several employees for their loyalty and particularly Gilles Larue, recruited as an apprentice “solier painter” in 1980 and who is retiring after his entire career in the company. In 2008, Gilles Larue was rewarded with a Silver medal of honor for work, and today, he was honored with the Vermeil, Gold and Grand Gold medals. On this occasion, other employees were distinguished for their years spent within the company: 30 years for Mr. Granet, plasterer, plasterer and painter, 20 years for Mr. Boutillon, plasterer and carpenter, Mr. Coudert, painter and chef. workshop and Mm Laval, management assistant.

This short medal ceremony in the workshop meeting room was followed by a friendly moment to toast this loyalty. Then, colleagues and spouses met at the bowling alley to play a few games, before continuing together over a good meal.
