Brentford continued their good results of late when they beat their hosts Liverpool 3-1 on Monday in the 19th stage of the English Premier League competition.
The winner’s goals came thanks to France’s Konate mistakenly against his side (19), Wissa of the Democratic Republic of the Congo and Cameroon’s Mbeumo (42 and 84), while Chamberlain scored Liverpool’s only goal ( 50).
Brentford avoided losing a sixth successive match in the competition, temporarily taking their tally to 26 points in seventh place, while Liverpool’s tally also temporarily stalled at 28 points in sixth place.
