“This is the Premier League. You have to be ready for the whole game. I think the first half we played a very good match, had a few chances to score a few more goals,” said Mason, quoted from Football London.
“But of course in the second half the intensity dropped and we were punished. This is the Premier League, we should have expected that. Very, very, very disappointed with the second half performance,” he said.
This result makes Tottenham Hotspur stuck in eighth position in the Premier League standings with 57 points. Brentford just below it with 56 points.
