Brentford involved in another goal fest as Wolves claim first win – Zone F1

Eight teams took part in Premier League games on Saturday afternoon, with nine goals scored in four games.

There were wins for Brentford, Fulham and the first – and crucial – league win of the season for Wolves.

The Gtech Community Stadium once again hosted an exciting event, while the London Stadium was largely a stalemate.

Read on for a summary of the Premier League games at 3pm on Saturday.

Brentford 3-2 Bournemouth

Brentford continued their unbeaten home record this season as Gtech fans were in for another treat.

Yoane Wissa bagged a brace to take his tally to seven goals in eight games this season, while Mikkel Damsgaard also scored for Thomas Frank’s side.

Evanilson had given Bournemouth the lead in the first 20 minutes before Justin Kluivert restored the lead shortly after half-time.

Crystal Palace 0-2 Fulham

Fulham rose to sixth in the table with goals from Emile Smith-Rowe and substitute Harry Wilson giving them a 2-0 win away to struggling Palace.

The hosts saw Daichi Kamada sent off with 15 minutes remaining to make it another difficult afternoon for Oliver Glasner’s side.

West Ham 0-0 Everton

Sean Dyche may be the happier of the two managers after West Ham and Everton shared the points in a goalless draw at the London Stadium.

In a largely uneventful game, the Hammers did little to pressure manager Julen Lopetegui. Crysencio Summerville came closest to breaking the deadlock for the hosts when, with 17 minutes remaining, his low shot bounced off the post with Everton goalkeeper Jordan Pickford beaten.

Pickford then made a stunning save in stoppage time to stop Danny Ings’ shot.

Wolves 2-0 Southampton

It may be a bit early to call a game in early November a relegation duel, but both Wolves and Southampton will find themselves bottom of the Premier League table.

But in the clash between two of the teams that struggled this season, it was Wolves who came out the winner of their first league victory this season.

Pablo Sarabia put the hosts perfectly in front when he found the net after two minutes, before Matheus Cunha doubled the lead shortly after the break.

A win lifts Gary O’Neil off the bottom of the table and into 18th place, while defeat to Southampton means they take Wolves’ place at the bottom of the table.
