Two strangers attacked a 45-year-old man from Bremen and his 39-year-old girlfriend at a bus stop in Arbergen on Saturday evening. As the police announced, a baton and a knife are said to have been used. The 45-year-old was slightly injured.
All those involved were previously on a 41 bus in Hemelingen. The 45-year-old had complained to the bus driver because a young man had not worn mouth and nose protection. When the couple got off at the Stackkamp stop later, they were suddenly approached by two men outside. These are said to have been friends of the young man without a mask. The 45-year-old said he was hit in the head with his fist and a baton while his girlfriend was threatened with a knife. The Bremer was able to fend off most of the blows, so that he suffered only minor injuries. The perpetrators then quickly fled back on the bus.
You are said to be around 20 years old, with dark complexion and dark hair. One is described as tall and fat. At the time of the crime he was dressed in dark clothes and armed with a baton. His accomplice is described as short and slim. He spoke broken German and carried a red knife with him. The police asked witnesses to call (0421) 362 3888.
