Bremen government coalition settles dispute over fire brigade report

The coalition dispute over the report by the Bremen Interior Ministry on grievances in the fire brigade has been settled. This has been confirmed by the parliamentary groups of the SPD, the Greens and the Left. Above all, the term “structural racism” caused disagreements.

Now, contrary to the first version, this is exactly what the report should talk about. “Yes, we are referring to that,” confirmed Mustafa Öztürk, domestic policy spokesman for the Green parliamentary group, buten un. “That was one of our main points of criticism, namely that structures, racism, sexism and queer hostility have favored bullying. Interior department speaks of “different interpretations”
