The Bremen citizenship today deals several times with questions about the climate and climate protection. In a current hour, at the request of the government coalition, it is about Bremen’s consequences of the most recent constitutional court ruling. This obliges the state to plan climate protection measures also in the distant future in order to protect young people from the consequences of climate change.
In the afternoon, the state parliament wants to discuss the interim report of the Bremen climate commission of the citizens. The CDU in turn wants to have an international climate university in Bremen. The parliamentarians will also debate this in the afternoon.
