Breisgau-Hochschwarzwald: Police checked day trippers in the Black Forest – “snow visitors” were mostly sensible and showed exemplary behavior

Due to increasing complaints and information on the situation in the winter tourist areas, the Müllheim police station yesterday on Epiphany Day increasingly patrolled the contact points in the Black Forest belonging to the area.

The police paid particular attention to the traffic safety of the approach and departure roads and parking lots, as well as compliance with the Corona regulation at the popular excursion destinations.

The strips checked the ski lifts, toboggan slopes and parking spaces in the Sirnitz, Kreuzweg and Haldenhof areas, as well as the Neuhof, Heidstein and Wiedner Eck areas in the Münstertal.

Due to the uncomfortable weather, the locations were well visited, but not overcrowded. Fortunately, there were no traffic obstructions. The corona rules were also observed almost everywhere. Only two verbal warnings had to be issued for not covering the mouth and nose.
Overall, the snow visitors were reasonable and showed exemplary behavior.

On the part of the Müllheim police station, increased controls of the winter excursion locations are also planned in the coming days.
