Breisgau-Hochschwarzwald: Happy winners from Belgium visiting the Kaiserstuhl nature garden – Anno Couperus from Brussels won the main prize at the tourism fair in Antwerp

Naturgarten Kaiserstuhl GmbH (NGK) has been exhibiting at tourism fairs in Belgium for many years. The trade fair in Antwerp at the beginning of March 2022 was the first event of this kind to take place again after the first two years of the pandemic. The Belgians, who love to travel, were very happy to use this opportunity to find out about future holiday destinations, including at the Kaiserstuhl-Tuniberg region stand. Visitors could also take part in a competition there. Wine and walnut cakes were raffled off every day, and the main prize was a short vacation in the Kaiserstuhl natural garden. The lucky winner of this prize is Anno Couperus from Brussels. He spent three days in Breisach am Rhein with his wife, Ilse de Boer. With the support of the NGK and the tourist information offices in the region, Breisach tourism has put together an interesting adventure programme. This included a city tour in Breisach, a tour of Geldermann and an e-bike tour in Vogtsburg.

At the reception in Breisach Tourism, Anno Couperus reported that he regularly drove past our region while working for a Swiss company and unfortunately only visited the rest stop near Colmar. In addition, the two have already spent a holiday in the Black Forest and in Freiburg. So this was the third holiday in this region. It brought back great memories and made you want to visit again. On behalf of NGK, Annette Senn presented them with a gift basket containing delicacies from Kaiserstuhl and Tuniberg, so that the two of them would also be reminded of their short holiday at home.
