The Brebes Regency government followed up on the victim’s complaint the Cianjur earthquake Rp. 6 million for the rent of an ambulance. The government of the Brebes regency has decided to replace the rent.
Reported detikJateng, families of earthquake victims have complained about the cost of hiring an ambulance. In addition to being expensive, the transport process was deemed inappropriate because an ambulance was filled with three bodies, four injured victims and a relative.
Brebes regional secretary Djoko Gunawan said the government was directly helping the victim’s family. Initially, the Brebes Regency Government had wanted to lodge a complaint with the Cianjur Regency Government, but it turned out that the ambulance used was an ambulance from a Depok foundation.
“This is worrying. I wanted to complain to the Cianjur regency government, but it turned out to be a foundation car,” Djoko said, on Wednesday (23/11/2022).
Finally, the government of the Brebes regency has decided to reimburse the ambulance rental fee of 6 million rupees. The funds were withdrawn from BAZNAS and immediately handed over to the victim’s family.
“We will pay the rent for the ambulance. They really need it because there may be a tahlilan event or other need. We involve Baznas and it has been delivered,” Djoko said.
