Cancer can spread in the body through tissue, the lymphatic system, and the blood (metastasis).

Signs and symptoms of childhood breast cancer

  • 1.- Mass or thickening in or near the breast, or in the armpit or arm area.
  • 2.- Change in the size or shape of the breast.
  • 3.- Dimples or wrinkles in the skin of the breast.
  • 4.- Nipple that sinks into the breast.
  • 5.- Liquid, which is not breast milk, that comes from the nipple, including blood.
  • 6.- Flaky, red or swollen skin on the breast, including the nipple or areola.
  • 7.- Dimples on the breast that look like orange peel

Treatment of childhood breast cancer

Three types of standard treatment are used for breast cancer:

Surgery: It is done to remove the cancer, but not the entire breast; radiotherapy and chemotherapy.
