As you know, CEPREME has been working for 13 years in the prevention of breast cancer and supporting cancer patients and their families, which is why today we have become a family that supports, cares for and supports itself. who fights to save the lives of each of the members that are part, and this time on behalf of all the households that have a relative who suffers from breast cancer and metastatic breast cancer, we want to ask you not to let the people who currently suffering from this disease lose their lives due to lack of medication.
It is important to mention that each patient with breast cancer and metastatic breast cancer has dreams, wishes and goals to fulfill, just as we are sure that each of you has them, but most importantly, you have a family that needs them, and that I would give everything that they can save their lives, just as their own families would.
For our part, we are working on the prevention of this disease, reaching more than 300,000 people who have already been trained and to date, with the support of private companies, we are delivering 2,850 breast ultrasounds free of charge between 2020 and 2021 for people who they do not have resources, we are also promoting a citizen initiative that seeks to attract their attention, through the collection of signatures, to ask them on behalf of all Ecuadorian households to help us with the timely delivery of medicines for patients with breast cancer and metastatic breast cancer and thus be able to save their lives and keep that light on in every home, since breast cancer affects mostly women, the same who are mothers, daughters, wives, granddaughters, nieces and friends of many people who need them.
We are convinced that our voice will be heard and we will soon have the necessary medication to save the lives of breast cancer and metastatic breast cancer patients.
