Breast cancer awareness dynamics were provided in Punto Norte
The Punto Norte Yoga Workshop, at the La Cuchilla Primary Health Care Center (CAPS), was the space for those participating to reflect on the importance of early detection of the disease.
The meeting, which takes place every Tuesday and Thursday from 10:45 a.m. to 11:45 a.m., focused on raising awareness and promoting breast cancer. In the activity, which had a large participation of neighbors, the importance of prevention and self-care was emphasized.
In this sense, informative talks and dynamics were held on breast cancer, highlighting the importance of early detection and healthy habits to prevent this disease.
The participants not only enjoyed the physical benefits of practicing Yoga, but they also left with more care tools in relation to breast cancer. It should be remembered that this disease represents the leading cause of death in the female population worldwide.
CAPS La Cuchilla continues to work on promoting comprehensive health in the community, offering activities and workshops that address different aspects of well-being. These types of initiatives contribute to raising awareness about diseases and promoting healthy habits among neighbors.
The Municipality of Gualeguaychú invites the entire community to participate in the various activities carried out in Punto Norte and in the different CAPS of the city.
