Breanna Stewart Shatters Single-Game Points record in Second Game with New Team

In just her second game with her new franchise, Breanna Stewart dazzled her new audience by breaking the single-game points record.

Breanna Stewart, considered one of the top three players in the world today, delighted the New York Liberty crowd for her first home game.

After the surprising defeat in Washington on Friday (80-64), Breanna Stewart, Sabrina Ionescu and their teammates wanted to catch up against the Indiana Fever (90-73).

In just three quarters, the Liberty winger broke her points record (which stood at 38), as well as the franchise record (which was 40 by Cappie Pondexter in 2010). She scores 45 points at 15/21 in shooting including 6/9 from three points. She adds to her stat line 12 rebounds and 3 assists.
