Breaking the Record of 8,369 Cases in a Day, Here are 3 Provinces with More than 1,000 Covid-19 Cases

KOMPAS.com – The Covid-19 pandemic is not over. Indonesia again recorded a daily case record on December 3, 2020.

Reported Kompas.com, Thursday (3/12/2020), the government through the Covid-19 Handling Task Force reported an additional 8,369 cases of Covid-19.

The thousands of new Covid-19 cases were a record for the highest increase in Covid-19 patients a day during the pandemic.

This shows that the Covid-19 case cannot be controlled after the pandemic has been running for more than nine months in Indonesia. This information was disclosed by the Covid-19 Task Force.

With these additions, the total Covid-19 cases in Indonesia reached 557,877 people.

Total cases recovered in Indonesia reached 462,553 patients. Meanwhile, 17,355 patients died from Covid-19.

According to data from the Indonesian Ministry of Health as of December 2, the addition of daily Covid-19 cases was 5,533 cases.

That number is slightly lower than reported on December 3.

The increase in cases occurred in various provinces in Indonesia. Not only hundreds, three provinces in Indonesia have even registered more than 1,000 new cases.
