Breaking the PSBB, Ade Yasin Asks for Rhoma Irama to be Processed by Law

TEMPO.CO, Bogor -Head of the Covid-19 Handling Task Force of Bogor Regency, Ade Yasin asked the authorities to crack down on dangdut singer Rhoma Irama who did not give a reprimand. Ade said clearly and openly Rhoma Irama, had violated the Regent’s Regulation number 35 of 2020 concerning PSBB. “We have sent a warning letter to Bung Rhoma, but he did not heed the regulations of the Regency Government,” Ade Yasin said in his press release on Sunday evening June 28, 2020.

Ade said in the warning letter sent to Rhoma Irama that included not doing any kind of entertainment, because it would invite crowds. So as the Regent of Bogor, Ade asked Rhoma along with the others who held the event in this case the invitees to be processed according to existing laws.

Because according to Ade, they were able to turn their territory into co-19 epicenter. “Anyone who violates them, indiscriminately. The legal process,” said Ade.

Previously, Rhoma Irama in her Facebook social account ‘replied’ a warning letter from the Regency Government and the Covid-19 task force team in Bogor Regency. In the video he uploaded, Rhoma said that he canceled his performance, because it followed the implementation of the Large-Scale Social Limitations or PSBB.

But the man nicknamed the King of dangdut was found to remain performing at a celebration event of one of the residents in Pamijahan, Bogor Regency, today. Ade Yasin firmly said that despite being present in the capacity as an invited guest, Rhoma Irama still sang a number of songs so as to invite a crowd. Even present were Rita Sugiarto, Yunita Ababil, Wawa Marissa, Caca Handika, Yus Yunus and several other capital artists. “Whereas Bogor Regency is still in the Proportional PSBB until July 2, 2020,” said Ade Yasin.
