This afternoon (06/27/2023), at around 1:30 p.m., a vehicle fire broke out on the L 523 (transition to federal highway 9) in Ludwigshafen. For reasons that have not yet been clarified, a small van caught fire near the Nachtweide driveway. The 58-year-old driver suffered burn injuries and was taken to hospital by ambulance. The road is currently still completely closed, traffic is diverted.
