The project of the future mall in Onești, which UNU on Trotuș wrote about 4 years ago, exclusively (DETAILS HERE), continued its normal course despite the 2 years of the pandemic and today it reached a new stage. It is practically one of the last steps that need to be done in order to start the actual construction.
The project regarding the construction of a mall in Onești has reached the stage where the public is invited to submit observations and proposals regarding the intention to develop the Zonal Urban Plan (PUZ). Those who wish to comment on this project have the opportunity to do so between March 24 and April 7.
UNU on Trotuș is able to present you, for the first time, new information regarding the future mall in Onești, which will compete with the shopping center in Sfântu Gheorghe considering the area it will cover: over 12,000 sqm (double compared to Roman Value Center).
The mall in Onești will be developed by the real estate development and investment company Prime Kapital. The adopted mall model, specific to markets in small towns, such as Onești, is the very innovation of Prime Kapital. “It has already been demonstrated that this concept works very well both for the developers and for the tenants present in these projects. For example, the incorporation of a food court area and cafes was very well received by the inhabitants of the city of Roman”, said Bogdan Marcu, Retail Agency Partner within Cushman & Wakefield Echinox, one of the most important real estate consulting firms in the country.
“We thank the mayor Laurentiu Neghină, who did not stop us and got involved so that this project came to life”, say those involved.
WHICH BRANDS WILL BE PRESENT AT ONEțI
Almost certainly, a generous space in the future Onești mall will be occupied by the famous German-Dutch clothing retailer C&A, founded 178 years ago and which includes the brands Angelo Litrico, Canda, Clockhouse, Here+There, Palomino, Westbury, Yessica, Yessica Pure.
Takko Fashion, the second clothing retailer company in Germany, which owns almost 2,000 stores in 17 countries, is among the brands with which negotiations are underway, to be present at Onești.
It remains to be seen what Jysk’s position will be, given that the Danish concern that sells “everything for the home” has already opened a store in Onești, between the two stadiums (FC Onești and CSM), in an extremely elegant and attractive space . In the same situation are Pepco, KiK and Sinsay, which have already opened stores in Onești.
The largest shoe retailer in Europe, the German company Deichmann, founded in 1913, will also be present in Onești, if the negotiations go well.
In the fast food area, there are talks with several famous brands, among which is Kentucky Fried Chicken, or KFC, as everyone knows it. KFC is an American restaurant chain with nearly one million employees worldwide. More than 15,000 KFC restaurants operate today in 109 countries, a third of which are in the US alone.
Benvenuti and Hervis Sport are other companies that are negotiating with Prime Kapital to occupy spaces in the future Onești mall.
Other brands that could have stores in the Onești mall, being present, for example, in the Sepsi Value Center in Sfântu Gheorghe and belonging to the same developer, Prime Kapital: CCC, DM, Jolidon, KVL&Lee Cooper&Timeout, LC Waikiki, Mesopotamia , New Yorker, Noriel, Sportisimo, Tom Tailor.
The Onești mall will also host a Carrefour hypermarket, but local entrepreneurs will also have the opportunity to occupy certain spaces.
