JAKARTA, iNews.id – I Gede Ari Astina aka Jerinx SID official arrested in case of suspicion threat. The announcement of the detention was made after he underwent an examination at the Central Jakarta District Attorney (Kejari), Wednesday (1/12/2021).
Head of the Intelligence Section of the Central Jakarta Prosecutor’s Office, Bani Immanuel Ginting, said the detention was carried out by the DKI Jakarta High Prosecutor’s Office (Kejati) for the next 20 days. Jerinx was detained under the pretext of facilitating the inspection.
“That the suspect was detained by the Prosecutor of the DKI Jakarta High Prosecutor for 20 (twenty) days with reasons to facilitate the trial process, it is feared that the suspect will escape, damage or destroy evidence and or repeat the crime in accordance with Article 21 paragraph (1) of the Criminal Procedure Code, ” said Bani in a written statement, Wednesday (1/12/2021).
Bani said that Jerinx was handed over as a suspect along with case files and evidence (Phase II) in the Information and Electronic Transaction crime case, namely sending electronic information containing threats of violence to the Central Jakarta Kejari.
“The suspect was charged with an alternative charge, namely the first charge of violating Article 29 in conjunction with Article 45 B of Law Number 11 of 2008 concerning Electronic Information and Transactions, namely intentionally and without rights sending electronic information containing threats of violence or intimidation aimed personally at witness Adam Deni Gearaka.
