Istanbul Police Department Anti-Narcotics Branch Directorate teams carried out operations simultaneously to many addresses in Ümraniye and Üsküdar in the early morning. Many suspects were detained in operations against drug dealers. Police searched the houses where the operation was held. Police helicopters and Special Operations police also supported the operation.

One of the addresses to be operated was an apartment in Akın Sokak, Üsküdar Cumhuriyet Mahallesi. Narcotic teams entering the apartment accompanied by special operations police searched the address. Detained suspects were taken to the Department of Combating Narcotics Crimes in Vatan Street.
