Selon the market expert Fabricius Romanthe English footballer Henry Lawrence would be on the verge of joining Standard de Liège. This was announced by the Italian journalist on Monday on his Twitter account.
The 21-year-old England player is currently without a club, having left Chelsea at the end of last season. Lawrence arrived at the London club in 2021. He was then loaned out for two years to clubs in League One, England’s third division: AFC Wimbledon in 2021-2022 and Milton Keynes Dons in 2022-2023.
According to Fabrizio Romano, the Englishman will therefore join the Belgian championship and sign at Standard de Liège. “England full-back Henry Lawrence to sign free transfer to Standard Liege after leaving Chelsea, can we read on his Twitter account. “The agreement is concluded and the talented right defender, born in 2001, will try a new experience in Belgium.“
