Turkish Basketball Federation (TBF) announced that national basketball player Nilay Aydoğan, who played for Çankaya University in the ING Women’s Basketball Super League, died in the earthquake disaster.
In the statement made by the TBF, “We have learned with deep sadness that Nilay Aydoğan, the national player of Çankaya University, one of the ING Women’s Basketball Super League teams, lost her life in the earthquake disaster. May God have mercy on the deceased, we offer our condolences to his family, relatives and the basketball community.” expressions were used.
