Breakfast television: Alina Merkau raves about colleagues

And boom – she’s pointing the camera at her colleague. “The wolf pack back together,” greets Alina Merkau with a laugh, whereupon both start a wolf howl.

The harmony between the two quickly becomes clear: “We always have a lot to talk about here,” says Alina Merkau. Christian Wackert sees it similarly: “That’s right, the nice thing about it is that time always goes by so quickly.”

Shortly afterwards, Alina Merkau films herself again in the studio kitchen – and here she really gets into raptures about Christian Wackert: “You can say what you want about Wackert, but there are always small bites here in the morning. Take a look at this!”

She enthusiastically holds a small bowl of red berries into the camera. “A man who cuts strawberries for work. Next Level!” But that’s not the end of it – because Christian Wackert seems to be the unofficial caterer of the Sat.1 “Frühstücksfernsehen” team.

“Then there are cucumbers in the fridge and then small snacks are made, then there are Nutella toasts,” reports Alina Merkau. Alina Merkau also regularly lets her colleague spoil her with culinary delights: “I benefit a lot from it. Thank you!” (tab)
