Cases of the Corona virus or COVID-19 in DKI Jakarta broke another record. Today, there are an additional 5,582 cases of COVID-19 in DKI Jakarta.
This data on the addition of COVID-19 cases was reported by the COVID-19 Task Force through BNPB Public Relations, Sunday (20/6/2021). Data is updated daily with cut off every 12 noon.
This addition of COVID-19 cases broke yesterday’s record (June 19, 2021) which added 4,895 cases. Previously, on June 18, 2021, the Corona case in Jakarta also broke records.
With this addition, the total number of COVID-19 cases reported in DKI Jakarta to date is 474,029 cases. Meanwhile, today’s recovered cases in Jakarta reached 2,457, bringing the total number of patients who have recovered from Corona to 435,904.
Then the death cases in DKI Jakarta increased by 69 people. Thus, the total number of deaths due to Corona has reached 7,768.
The addition of Corona cases today in DKI Jakarta is the highest after the previous one on Saturday (19/6). On last Saturday, Corona cases reached 4,895, thus the addition of Corona in Jakarta today broke the highest record during the pandemic.
Jakarta Is Not Fine
Metro Jaya Police Chief Inspector General Fadil Imran conveyed the situation of the COVID-19 case in DKI Jakarta. According to Fadil Imran, Jakarta is in a bad condition.
“Tell the public that Jakarta is not doing well,” said Inspector General Fadil Imran to reporters at Polda Metro Jaya, Jakarta, Thursday (17/6/2021).
Fadil Imran said the number of COVID-19 in Jakarta had increased. Bed occupancy ratio (BOR) at Wisma Atlet also experienced an increase.
