Bread wheat from the new harvest is sought at a higher price – Agro Plovdiv – 2024-09-28 06:35:00


On The Sofia Commodity Exchange trade in grain goods is active during the week, the stock exchange experts also report. After the deals for bread wheat of old harvests since the beginning of the month, carried out at a price of BGN 314 per ton for delivery EXW (the seller’s obligation is only to ensure that the buyer has access to the goods), now a large amount of this year’s harvest is sought at the higher price of BGN 370 per ton, and the supply is BGN 530 per ton, according to the experts of the Sofia Stock Exchange (SSE).

Announcements for fodder wheat with delivery to the buyer (DAP delivery) range between BGN 340 and 362 per ton for buyers and BGN 500 per ton for sellers. There is also an offer of fodder barley at a price of BGN 320 per ton and sunflower oil from 870 to 900 BGN per ton.

The prices of the basic food products are stable at the same level as the initial prices, report the experts of the SSB. Oil in bottles is sold at BGN 2.20 per liter, a unrefined oil at BGN 1,750 per ton. The offer continues yellow peas in the big bag, one ton at a starting price of BGN 1,200 per ton.

During the SSB week there were deals for gas oil for industrial and communal purposes from BGN 1,967.49 to BGN 2,244.42/thousand. l., for propane butane gas from BGN 975 to BGN 1,080/thousand l and for natural gas from BGN 1424.62 to BGN 1441.59/thousand n. cubic m. There were also sales of propane gas to BGN 1066.33/thousand l i gas for household needs at BGN 2.50 – 2.85/kg. They also redeemed themselves scrap iron at BGN 160 per ton, aluminum scrap at 1400 BGN per ton and lead scrap at BGN 700 per ton.

The prices of grain goods rose in the world stock markets in the last week of September. The price FOB (FOB – Free On Board – at the border of the exporting country) of bread wheat in Chicago rose $9 to $255 a ton for October delivery. In France, it rose by 3 euros to 222 euros per ton, in Ukraine by 2 dollars to 225 dollars per ton, and in Russia – by 3 dollars to 219 dollars per ton, reports SSB.

The price movement at the corn also moves up – in the USA by 3 dollars to 208 dollars per ton, in France by 5 euros to 211 euros per ton, in Ukraine – by 2 dollars to 208 dollars per ton.

The price of barley in Ukraine was higher by 3 dollars to 190 dollars per ton for delivery in October, a rapeseed on the Euronext exchange for delivery in November rose by 10.75 euros to 475 euros per ton.

The contracts for unrefined sunflower oil on the Rotterdam Stock Exchange for October delivery rose $15 to $1,120 a tonne.

Refined sugar also rose – up $25.30 for October delivery to $593.90 on the London Stock Exchange.
