Inflation estimates for 2021 in Brazil changed from 6.88 to 7.05%, according to the Central Bank of Brazil, which calculated a rise from 3.84 to 3.90% for the coming year.
According to Focus survey of the financial institutionIf these projections are met, it would be the highest inflation since 2015, when it stood at 10.67%.
The official goal of the Brazilian government was 3.75%, with a tolerance interval of 1.5 percentage points, which means a ceiling of 5.25%.

The Gross Domestic Product (GDP) of Brazil had a reduction from 5.3 to 85.23% for this year and from 2.05 to 2.04% for 2022
Analysts raised their forecasts for the basic Selic reference interest rate for 2021 and 2021. They are currently at 5.25% and it was modified in the calculations from 7.25 to 7.50%.
The Selic is a instrument that uses the central bank to maintain inflation with the target system.
