Rubia said that the streets of Mussomeli remind him of his childhood home and the fact that the locals are very loving compels him to stay here. “It’s an ecological idea. We need to stop building new and start rebuilding what we already have.” Daniels said they intend to turn one of the three houses they bought in Mussomeli into an art gallery. It will be used to nurture regional artists and promote cultural exchange. In the second, Rubia will prepare her accommodation. The third house will be converted into a wellness center for locals to gather, she said. The construction of the houses was to start in 2020.
