Brazilian President Jair Bolsonaro Operation Bladder Stone

Jakarta, CNN Indonesia

President Brazil Jair Bolsonaro had surgery to remove the stone bladder on Friday (25/9). Bladder problems are a series of health problems for the Brazilian right-wing leader.

“He had surgery cystolithotripsy endoscopy, a minimally invasive procedure under general anesthesia that involves using a laser to break up and remove bladder stones. The procedure was performed without complications, and the bladder stones were completely removed. The patient is in stable condition, without fever or pain, “said the Brazilian Ministry of Communications as quoted by AFP, Saturday (26/9).

Bolsonaro has previously announced he will undergo bladder stone surgery. To supporters, he said the bladder stone was bigger than a pea.

“I felt a little sick, so I checked myself. But I’m fine. It’s an age problem,” he said last month.

Bolsonaro has undergone a series of operations in recent years. This includes four operations to the stomach that were performed while being stabbed in the 2018 presidential campaign.

The attack, carried out by a suspected leftist, came a month before Bolsonaro was elected president.

In addition, he has also been infected with Covid-19. As a result of the infection, he had to undergo a quarantine period of nearly three weeks.
