‘The nights of the Monumental’ they offer a double proposal of live music in the Madrid theater: at 7:00 p.m. ‘Sampa ‘, with the double bass player Javier Colina and the pianist Albert Sanz and his style that combines Brazilian music with jazz and swing, a concert that La 2 will broadcast on April 2. This concert can be seen in La 2 on April 9.

‘Sampa’, with Javier Colina and Albert Sanz

The first concert of the night is the musical proposal of the double bass player Javier Colina and the pianist Albert Sanz, with ‘Sampa’. A work with obvious influences from Brazilian music with an air of bulerías, drops of jazz and swing. The result: a repertoire with a lot of color and flavor, interpreted with feeling by these two artists who overflow with wisdom, style and mastery. With songs like ‘Sihná’, ‘Joao e María’, ‘Canso de Sal’ or ‘Crave e Canela’.

Javier Colina and Albert Sanz after several years playing together in various projects such as ‘En la Imaginación’ -together with Silvia Pérez Cruz-, Javier Colina Quartet, Albert Sanz Trío, or their collaborations with the legendary drummer, they return to the duo format with a New concept.
