The water began to fall three hours after the British Lando Norris (McLaren) won the sprint race and cut the lead on the world championship leader, the Dutch Max Verstappen (Red Bull).
The “qualy” does not yet have a schedule, but it is expected to be scheduled for the Sunday morning before the start of the race, the twenty-first of the 24 of the season.
“The decision has been made due to the lack of visibility caused by the rain we have suffered in recent hours. There is a lot of stagnant water in some parts of the circuit, which makes conditions dangerous,” said the International Automobile Federation. (FIA) in a statement.
