The Brazilian Armed Forces said Wednesday that there was no fraud in the results of the second round of elections, in which former president and union leader Luiz Inácio Lula da Silva was the winner.

The Superior Electoral Court (TSE) indicated that the report prepared by specialists from the Armed Forces. on the elections “did not indicate the existence of fraud or inconsistencies in electronic voting machines and in the electoral process of 2022”.
In the document, Defense Minister Paulo Sérgio Nogueira de Oliveira did not mention any anomalies, but warned that the electronic voting system is not free from some type of fraud.
According to the Armed Forces report. the work was limited to supervising the electronic voting system, excluding other activities of the electoral process.
Before the military text, the TSE replied that it received it with satisfaction, not reporting the existence of fraud or inconsistencies in the electronic ballot boxes.
The Defense Ministry report found no fraud or inconsistency in the 2022 elections. It was Jair Bolsonaro’s hope to contest the election result.
