Brazil face Ecuador in the fourth matchday of Group B America’s Cup 2021. The two teams drew 1-1 and Ecuador got a ticket to the quarterfinals.
Brazil vs Ecuador is presented in the last week of the Group B phase. The duel of the two teams took place at the Estadio Olimpico Pedro Ludovico, Monday (28/6/2021) morning WIB.
The Samba team went down without their best squad because it was confirmed to be in the quarterfinals as group winners. Although some of the coating players, Brazil remains strong.
Ecuador in this match need a win to be able to continue to advance. The visitors almost got a goal in the 11th minute when Enner Valencia’s shot bounced over the Brazilian goal that was already without Alisson Becker’s control.

Ecuador immediately step on the gas since the beginning of the second half. The 1-1 equalizer was finally obtained in the 53rd minute through Angel Mena after welcoming a header from Valencia.
The tempo of the match was not too excited after the score was even. Even though Brazil had threatened several times, none of them had scored a goal like Ecuador.
The 1-1 score was enough to deliver Ecuador to the quarterfinals. This lucky fate was accompanied by Venezuela’s 0-1 defeat against Peru due to Andre Carrillo’s goal in the 48th minute.
Peru is in second place behind Brazil. Colombia ranks third and is followed by Ecuador.
