Thales signs a strategic partnership with Eve Air Mobility, a subsidiary of Brazilian aircraft manufacturer Embraer, to support the development of eVTOL, Eve’s electric vertical take-off and landing aircraft. The agreement includes a series of joint studies over a period of twelve months, which began in January 2022, on the technical, economic and adaptable feasibility of a 100% electric aircraft. The French aerospace and security company will bring its expertise in avionics, electrical, flight control, navigation, communication and connectivity systems. The Thales Space Technology Center, located in São José dos Campos and its recently opened Avionics Center in São Bernardo do Campo will provide support to the teams working on the project, which will also rely on the engineers (…)
