Bolsonaro still does not acknowledge his defeat in October’s presidential election and is inciting fascist protesters, Lula told reporters.
There were violent protests by supporters of Bolosnaros in the capital Brasilia on Monday. Cars and buses went up in flames and rioters tried to storm the police headquarters. A few hours earlier Lula had been officially confirmed as the new head of state during a ceremony. He narrowly won the election and is expected to take office on January 1.
