The South American Football Association “Comnebol” has announced the result of the continent’s qualifying round for the championship World Cup 2022 in Qatar.
Brazil and Argentina are scheduled to meet between 5 and 13 October 2020 in the sixth round of the preliminaries in Brazil, while the timing of the return match has not been decided.
The South American qualifiers for the World Cup are held in one group, which includes all the continent’s teams Brazil, Argentina, Uruguay, Colombia, Chile, Peru, Venezuela, Bolivia, Paraguay and Ecuador.
The qualifiers will start between the 23rd and the 31st of March next, and the curtain falls between 8 and 16 November 2021, where 18 rounds will be held to meet all the continent’s teams with the round trip system.
