The Nintendo Direct Mini Partner Showcase opens with images from Bravely Default II, which clearly shows that the game focuses on the Switch’s handheld function. Graphically, the game looks like a worthy successor to its 3DS predecessor and the feeling arises that it ends up on the Switch due to the lack of a successor to the 3DS. Is that bad? Time will tell.
The young sailor Seth, the traveling apprentice Elvis, the mercenary Adelle and the former princess Gloria will embark on the adventure. An adventure that will only start in 2021. On March 26, 2021, we will finally know whether the Switch has received a worthy adventure in the form of Bravely Default 2.
